Today marks the 200th anniversary of the time America tried to invade Canada and we got their ass kicked
As much as the US likes to flaunt its current military might, you’d think that we were always the total badasses of the world. But then there’s the War of 1812, when the US tried to invade Canada and ended up with Canada not only kicking the shit out of us, but burning down the White House.

This song is a Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig) song. The song is beautiful. And if you read the meaning, it’ll be much more.
